A catch-all feature that is activated for a given e-mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise put, if you remove an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten email address under the same domain, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial in case you are running some company, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk messages, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all mailbox without any difficulty if you’ve got a shared hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet remarkably easy to work with, and it will allow you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with only a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve created will be displayed alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one of them you’ll see a mini "Catch-all" sign. Clicking it once will enable this feature, clicking it twice will disable it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already got another one with this feature activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all address can be created with a couple of clicks of the mouse if you have a semi-dedicated hosting with our company. The semi-dedicated hosting account will be administered through our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to set up email addresses with any domain hosted here. To activate the catch-all feature for a specific mailbox, you will have to click the icon with the same name, which will be next to each email address. Disabling this option can be achieved in the exact same way and will not take more than one click either. If the catch-all option has already been enabled for a given domain, you’ll get a warning. The same is valid if the mailbox that you want to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never change or deactivate anything automatically.
